The proposal presented by eProInn in the regional context is aimed at favoring and accelerating the industrialization phase of the HySolarKit project

Description

The proposal is synergic with a wider project context in the community. The HySolarKit project, awarded with the “Seal of Excellence” under the “SME Instrument Phase2” measure of “Horizon 2020”, is currently being carried out by eProInn and an industrial partnership within the European LIFE-SAVE program ( LIFE16 ENV / IT / 0004423), funded by the European Commission.

HysolarKit is a system designed and patented by researchers of the University of Salerno, which in 2014 constituted the spin-off company eProInn. The kit allows converting a conventional car into a hybrid-solar ecological vehicle and being able to be industrialized and marketed at a very limited fraction of the purchase price of a new hybrid or electric vehicle.

The kit applies in principle to all vehicles with two-wheel drive and front-wheel drive, which make up approximately 70% of vehicles circulating in Europe.

It is a realistic and short-term solution that meets urgent and pressing problems, felt both by national and EU institutions and by consumers:

Consumption

the reduction in consumption of fossil fuels and related costs

Global Warming

the containment of CO2 emissions, a cause of Global Warming

CO2 emissions

the reduction of polluting emissions of combustion products (nitrogen oxides, carbon monoxide, unburnt hydrocarbons and particulate matter), causing major diseases and contributing to smog

Objectives

The objectives of the project are of a technical, strategic and managerial nature, and include:

Implementation of an electro-pneumatic servo assistance and activation system
of the power steering system for driving conditions in electric-only mode

Replacement of electric motors integrated in the rear wheels with latest generation engines,
characterized by smaller axial dimensions and lower noise emissions

Study of alternative topologies for the hybridization system, such as alternator replacement
with electric motor of greater power

Filing of patents corresponding to the innovations developed and / or integrations of innovations
under the existing patent, and related international extensions

Development of marketing strategies and business management

Communication and dissemination actions, via Web, Newsletter and social media

The results will be presented on this site and disseminated through a Newsletter.
